A Rich Compilation of Spritual Wisdom
The best companion for a life's journey

Erotic In Every Way!Mallory and Jack are both lawyers trying to get a case, so they go to the resort where their prospective client invites them to visit. Mallory is a prim and proper woman on the outside, but her silk and satin leaves a thrill on the inside. The ever working Jack is stunned when he gets an invitation to join someone in a seduction. He is about to get an erotic lesson from the sexy Mallory.
From the first seduction to the second invitation to the wonder and love to confessing up and the beauty of love. What more can anyone want? Carly Phillips delivers everything we love in a romance; love, seduction, sex, and a happy-ever-after ending. The exotic invitation is still simmering inside me. Whether in a series or single titles, you don't read or see really hot, even erotic romances anymore, so this was a surprise and a fresh change of pace. I loved the new outlook and the seductiveness of the plot. I say, keep up the good work Carly Phillips!...
Excellent!Carly Phillips really knows how to build up the sexual tension. The back and forth erotic invitations between Jack and Mallory is so much better than jumping straight into bed. These two characters have depth and self awareness. They help each other find themselves while falling in love. Highly recommended.
Exceptional characters and writing!Ms. Phillips sure knows how to write. I couldn't put this book down and read it straight through in three hours. Its going on my keeper shelf for sure!

Excellent Resource
Easy to follow explanations from the horse's mouthGenerator concepts are in bite size chunks and easy to follow, yet not so easy that they bore the reader. The book follows a natural progression in complexity and will be usefull to developers of all experience levels stepping up to the Generator plate.
The level at which the author's stand in the developer community gives them the opportunity to bestow their knowledge in "we know it all" manner, but instead they maintain a humbleness that says "hey, we're just developers like you who've had a lot more time on our hands."
Chock full of all the essentials, and the non-essentials, this book is a must have for the Generator developer (or the developer wanna-be) and looks to have a long shelf life.

Where have you been all of my life?
Criminal Intent?ALBANY, NEW YORK - On the phone with her daughter, Karen McCann, played by Sally Field, becomes the only witness to the brutal rape and murder of her eldest daughter is the blockbuster 1996 film "Eye for an Eye." The story of a justice system that protected the wrong person and let a killer walk free, "Eye for an Eye" brought the debate about ordinary citizens and their right to own guns. The reality is that the American justice system is a dark place to operate in, often catering to the perpetrators of violent crimes instead of the victims.
Justice Rendered 2000 (now available from 1stBooks Library) is a collection of powerful true stories that prove to the reader that bad things do happen to good people, but that does not mean we can't do something to protect ourselves. Dedicated to all people who believe in the second amendment of the U.S. Constitution, Justice Rendered puts names and faces to ordinary people who faced extraordinary circumstances and refused to let evil win.
Compiling the stories that make up Justice Rendered was no easy task. Many of the people involved in these crimes live in daily fear of retribution for simply protecting themselves. To protect them, author Scotty Phillips has changed the names of the victims, the location of the crimes, and, in some cases, some of the facts of the case in order to protect the victims from the cruelty of the "system."
Scotty Phillips was raised in the small town of Adel, Georgia, near the Florida State line. After retiring with twenty years of military service, he returned to the civilian sector and gained employment in the finance collection business. Having spent endless hours in courtrooms handling litigation in lawsuits, he quickly became disturbed in witnessing testimonies from crime victims as the told their horrifying accounts. He became even more disturbed as he questioned why many of these victim's stories were never told (or refused to be told) by the mass media. Compelled to have their stories told, he invested countless hours of research in gathering each victim's account of that tragic event that changed their lives forever.
Justice Rendered is Phillips first book and was inspired by a devastating crime involving close family friends. He says, "The events of the crime were a wake-up call of the cold, hard facts of what can happen to all of us if we must defend ourselves. When a victim wins the gun battle, the costly legal battle from civil suits may turn the tables of a short-lived victory. You'll find the law may not be on your side."

This is my Business Bible

Good, but could be betterAs I see it, the most important things in the book are: the definition of phd, the chapter "How to do research", the psychological aspects related with the phd process, and the chapter "The form of a Phd thesis".
The worst things are: the chapter "How to survive in a predominantly British, white, male, full academic enviroment"; I think the information reported in this chapter is common in all social and professional environments and not specific to the phd, people that belong to minorities or are under harassment situations can easily find information in more specific literature. This chapter could be substituted by a more usefull one that could be titled: "Before the Phd"; there could be inserted important information that is not present now. i.e. in science phd's is very important to have a strong mathematical background "before" you start or to have adecuate English writing/reading skill "in any case"(so you should work hard before the phd if your mother language is not English).
As conclusion, I think that the book is helpful in general and it is worth to have a look on it; a valuable point is that it is the result of a profound analysis of the British Phd process, but in another hand this can be counteractive if applied to non-british phd.

Phillips & Pugh: How to Get a PhD

Insightful!
A must read for aspiring leadersAs Donald Phillips points out, for every major turning point in American history, creative leaders - right for the times and uniquely suited to the task - assume the mantle of leadership. Donald Phillips not only describes how MLK ended up at the mantle, but how and why he was the right person for the job.
MLK's movement is not the same civil rights movement being pushed by the self-serving, so-called, activists today. Read this book, you will learn about a true leader and what a true leader is. It is easy reading and inspiring. Highly recommended.
An awesome book!
